Terms of service

Auralune Last updated: 09/09/2026.

These terms apply when you use auralune.co.uk or buy from us. Please read them before

ordering. By placing an order you accept them.

Who can buy

You must be at least 18 and able to enter into a legally binding contract.

Orders

Placing an order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we send you a dispatch confirmation email. An order confirmation is an acknowledgement, not an acceptance.

We may refuse or cancel an order if the item is unavailable, if there has been a pricing or description error, or if we suspect fraud. If we cancel after you have paid, we refund you in full.

Prices and payment

Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include UK VAT where applicable. Delivery is charged separately and shown at checkout before you pay.

We may change prices at any time, but changes do not affect orders already accepted.

Payment is taken at checkout through Shopify Payments or PayPal. Your order will not be dispatched until payment clears.

If a price is listed incorrectly, we will contact you before dispatch and give you the choice of paying the correct price or cancelling for a full refund.

Products

We describe our products as accurately as we can. Our lamps are made from natural wood,

so grain, colour and figuring vary between individual pieces. Images on screen are a guide, and colour can appear differently on different displays. This variation is a feature of the material, not a fault.

Delivery

Delivery terms are set out in our Shipping Policy, which forms part of these terms. Delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees.

Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Ownership passes once we have received payment in full.

Returns and refunds

Our Refund and Returns Policy forms part of these terms and sets out your rights in full, including your statutory right to cancel.

Safe use of the product

Our lamps are for indoor domestic use. Keep them away from water, direct heat and naked flame. Do not submerge, dismantle or attempt to repair them. Do not cover the light while it is on.

Use the supplied cable and a compliant power source. We are not responsible for damage caused by misuse, unauthorised modification, or use of unsuitable accessories.

Use of the site

You may not use the site unlawfully, attempt to gain unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, or scrape it by automated means without our permission.

All content on the site, including text, images, logos and the Auralune name, belongs to us or our licensors and may not be reproduced without written permission.

Accounts

If you create an account, keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised use.

Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.

Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, business or opportunity. Our total liability in connection with any order is limited to the amount you paid for it.

Events outside our control

We are not liable for delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including supplier failure, carrier delays, customs holds, extreme weather, industrial action or interruption of telecommunications. If such an event occurs, we will contact you and you may cancel for a full refund.

Complaints and disputes

Email info@auralune.co with your order number and we will respond within two working days. We aim to resolve any complaint within 14 days.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK or the EU, you keep the benefit of any mandatory consumer protections of your own country, and may bring proceedings there.
